Transcription.

The transcription services of Conclusive Evidence are focused on the the legal field. We are speaking of a dedication of over a decade that is reflected in every single project that has been done by us to this day. The service is being given to lawyers, but its quality is measured in the courtroom. In order for a project that went through us to get the ‘legal evidence’ stamp, a great deal of careful and accurate work is being made.

In general, transcription deals with the transferring of recorded content to written content, in any situation that may have been recorded: whether it is a conversation between two people, a discussion with multiple people, or even a lecture with great importance to the court – the conversation needs to be conveyed correctly when it is on the page. Every small detail counts, and it is counted more harshly here than anywhere else – for you cannot skip anything that is in the original recording. This kind of careful work requires the high-level technical equipment and expertise that we have, since when it comes to court evidence – even when it is a technically challenging recording – the job must be performed in the best possible manner. Every transcription that passes through us, and that is considered court evidence, receives the stamp of an expert who examined the the work on our behalf, who will give their expert opinion, and who will declare his expertise to the court.

Conclusive Evidence is used to meeting tight schedules, and we are prepared for jobs even on a short notice.

FAQ.

Transcription means turning recorded content of any kind (personal conversations, lectures, discussions) into written content. It is work that calls for attention to every small nuance and detail, since the capability to convey the tone of recorded people in written form is an uncommon art by itself.

As soon as we receive the materials that need transcribing we start inspecting them, which includes a technical review of the recording’s quality. This will inform us how best to perform the job, and the project’s quote and deadline will be set according to these inspections.

Once the project is approved, the COO transfers it to the most appropriate professional in the company. Once the transcription is done, the project is proofed before being sent to the COO for final approval.

Once the project receives the final approval of the COO, the transcription and an expert opinion is transferred to the client.

According to the law of evidence, a recording’s transcription will be accepted as legal evidence only if it is accompanied by an expert opinion. The expert must declare his experience and professionalism to the court. Moreover, all of the recording’s details must be present in the expert’s opinion.

When it comes to transcription, it is better to select experienced professionals who already know how to approach projects of this nature, which technical tools to work with, and are familiar with the type of schedules for these projects.

Additionally, the person responsible for the transcriptions must submit an expert opinion in addition to the transcript, and this is where they must prove to the court their years of professional expertise on the subject.
